Fr. Michael Varlamos presents his Ph.D. research on Archbishop Iakovos' involvement in the Civil Rights Movement throughout the 1950's and 1960's at an event hosted by the Department of Inter-Orthodox, Interfaith, and Ecumenical Relations of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. The Rev. Protopresbyter Michael N. Varlamos is a Ph.D. Student at Wayne State University and the presiding priest at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in St. Clair Shores, MI.
